Stories Christmas Story
Long ago, about 2000 years, when King Herod ruled over Judea (now part of Israel), God sent Gabriel to a young woman who lived in northern Nazareth. The girl's name was Mary, and she was engaged to marry Joseph.
Christmas Story - Gabriel Mary Visits Gabriel told the angel: "Peace be with you! God has blessed you and is pleased with you. Mary was very surprised at this and wondered what the angel meant. The angel said to him, 'Do not be afraid, God is very kind to you. You will become pregnant by the Holy Spirit and give birth to a child's child and you call him Jesus. He will be God's own son, and his kingdom will never end. I was very scared but he trusted God, 'It happens in the form of God'. He answered the angel Gabriel told Mary that his cousin, Elizabeth, who was very old for all children, would be a child whom God had chosen to prepare for the way for Jesus. Mary said goodbye to her family and friends and she was very happy to see her Elizabeth Elizabeth and her husband, Zakarias, to visit Elizabeth Mary. She knew that Mary had chosen Mary to be the mother of her son. An angel had already told Zechariah that the child of Elizabeth would prepare the people to welcome Jesus. He had to be called John. Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months and then returned home to Nazareth. Christmas Story - An Angel Is Watching Joseph Joseph was worried when he found out that Mary was married before the expectation of a child. She was wondering if she should completely remove her from marriage. Then an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and said: 'Mary should not be treated as a wife.' The angel explained that Mary had chosen Mary to be the mother of her son and told Joseph that the child's name would be Jesus, which means 'Savior' because he will save people. When Joseph got up, he asked the angel to do this and took Mary as his wife. At this time, the land where Mary and Joseph were part of the Roman Empire wanted to make a list of all the people of the Roman Emperor Augustus Empire, to ensure that they pay their taxes, they ordered everyone to return to the city , Where their family originally came and entered their names in a name (or census). Mary and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem a long way (because about 70 miles), because Joseph's family came from here. Most people went but some lucky people had donkey in carrying essential items for travel. Joseph and Mary traveled very slowly because Mary's child was soon born When they reached Bethlehem, they had trouble to stay there so many people had come to register their names in the census, that every house had been completed and every guest room was taken every bed. The only place to live is that they can meet with animals can find. People often used to keep animals at home especially in the night, and used them like 'central heating'! People normally slept with animals raised / raised at upper levels so that they got extra heat. So the place where the animals slept, Mary gave birth to the Son of God, Jesus. In those days, it was the practice of wrapping newborn babies in a long dress called 'Swadalik cloth'. Jesus' bed was so messy that the animals had eaten their grass Outside Bethlehem in the mountains and areas, the shepherds take care of their sheep for a long time. As the new day began, suddenly an angel appeared before them and the glory of God shone around them. The shepherds were very scared, but the angel said, 'Do not be afraid. Good news for you and everyone for me is today a savior in Bethlehem born for you. You will have a special story in the child. ' Christmas Story - Cowboy sent by a fairy Then many other angels were seen shining above the sky. The shepherds praised him for singing God: "Glory of God in the highest, and peace for everyone on earth." When the angels had gone, the shepherds said to each other, 'Look, we go to Bethlehem to see what has happened.' So the shepherds went to Bethlehem and saw Mary and Joseph. The child Jesus was lying on a street because he was told. When they saw him, he told everything the angel had said, and he was surprised to hear the story. Then the shepherds returned to their sheep and praised God for their son to be their Savior. When Jesus was born, a new bright star appeared in the sky. In remote countries, some wise men saw the star and guess what it meant. He was a very wise man who studied stars and studied in very old articles that a new star would appear when a great king was born. They were ready to find the new king and give him gifts. The wise men were behind the star of Jewish country and when they came to the capital city of Jerusalem, they asked the people: 'Where is the child who is the king of the Jews?' King Herod of Judea listened to this and it gives him a lot of anger that anyone would want to take his place as king. Herod sent a wise man to come to him. He asked them to follow the star until they found the baby king. He said: 'When you find him, tell me where he is, so that I go and worship him.' But Herod did not tell them that it was actually a bad plan to kill the new king. Christmas Story - The Visiting Children Coming to Jesus The wise men used to chase the stars towards Bethlehem (where it was said that the king would be born in old articles). It seemed that at that place where Jesus was directly, he closed it straight and started shining. The intelligent men used to enter the house where they now lived and Jesus met with Mary, bowed down and the wise man of his worship spread the gifts brought before Jesus. The gift was gold, frankincense and myrrh. Wise men were warned in a dream, not God, to return to Herod. Therefore, they returned home to their countries in a different way in the past. Christmas Story - Joseph, Joseph and Jesus in Egypt When the wise men went, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream. 'Get up,' the angel said, 'take Jesus and Mary and flee to Egypt. Stay there till I tell you, because Herod is looking for Jesus to kill him. So Joseph got up and took Jesus and Mary to Egypt in the night, where he stayed until Herod's death. When Herod realized that he was betrayed by an intelligent man, he was angry and ordered that all the boys of two or less were killed in Bethlehem and the surrounding area, to try and kill this new king, Because his plan failed to find the place of the new king of the wise man. After Herod's death, Joseph had another dream in which an angel had seen him. The angel said, Get up, take Jesus and Mary and return to Israel, because those who were trying to kill Jesus Are dead So Joseph got up, took Jesus and Mary, and they returned to Israel. But when he heard that Herod's son was now the king of Judea, he was afraid to go there. Instead, they went to Galilee and lived in their old Nazareth city. |
